BAM Therapy

Online Individual Yoga

Specialised one-to-one clinically-informed yoga for mental health & wellbeing

Supporting you to reach your personal wellness goals.

How does individual yoga work?

Individual yoga offered one-to-one means that you experience personalised yoga sessions tailored to you, your specific concerns and wellness goals, all from the comfort of your own space. As it is just you in the session, you can ask questions, make comments, and check things out with Kayleigh along the way.

You can explore clinically-informed yoga without the hassle of travelling to a venue or worry about trying things in front of other people. For some it can feel more convenient and accessible, all within the safety of confidential and supportive online meeting spaces.

Your individual yoga journey will start with talking through and identifying your concerns, requests and goals for yoga. Together we will think about the approaches and models that might be most beneficial to you including yoga CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and trauma-informed yoga.

Individual yoga is a journey of exploration and self-discovery in a supportive and professional environment. Feedback and reflection are key so that we can work together most effectively.

Questions

Common questions about yoga

Do I need any yoga experience?
None at all. Sessions, classes and workshops are inclusive and open to everyone — complete beginners are very welcome, and everything is adapted to your body and experience level.
What is clinically-informed yoga, in a sentence?
It's yoga designed by a Clinical Psychologist: traditional yoga practices blended with evidence-based psychological models such as CBT, compassion-focused therapy and trauma-informed approaches, with the explicit aim of supporting your mental health. The article What makes BAM Therapy yoga different? explains it in full.
What do I need for an online session?
A yoga mat (or a non-slip surface), enough floor space to lie down and stretch your arms out, and a device with a camera positioned so Kayleigh can see you. Helpful extras: a blanket, cushions, and any yoga props you have — though household alternatives work well.
I'm not flexible — is yoga still for me?
Yes — flexibility is something yoga develops, not something it requires. Every practice is offered with options and modifications, and the focus is on how the practice feels rather than how it looks.
How much do sessions cost?
Individual sessions are £65 for up to 60 minutes — get in touch to discuss availability. Group sessions, workshops and organisational programmes are quoted on enquiry. See the fees page for all pricing.
