Online Wellbeing Yoga Course 

Six week yoga program with integrated cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) skills.

Open to all, no experience of yoga needed!


The Wellbeing Yoga 6-week course has its foundations in Yoga CBT, a combined approach that  enhances therapeutic yoga with psychological therapy theory, skills, and ideas. Yoga CBT works on overcoming negative and unhelpful thinking patterns and emotional states using body and mind practices drawn from scientifically evidenced yoga and CBT. The focus is on experiencing and practicing self-help skills for reducing anxiety and better managing everyday stress.


The course includes controlled breathing practices, yoga asana (body movements, yoga poses), meditation, mindfulness-based interventions, and CBT techniques such as psychology information sharing, working on thoughts and thinking, and imagery work. It is a group program open to anyone interested in developing self-help skills to manage emotional wellbeing. It is not a replacement for talking therapy or other forms of treatments recommended or prescribed for those awaiting or under the care of mental health services. 

To support your learning and experience of the course, you will also receive a 38-page course booklet with materials and information related to the key principles covered each week, and guided exercises which explain how to practice the different techniques on your own between the sessions.


This course runs several times each year and over consecutive weeks. It is a closed group program in that people are invited to sign up for the entire six week course and new people will be unable to join the course after the first session. Pre-booking is required in advance. The cost is £66 for the 6-week group program and course handbook.
